THE TELEDYNE PROJECT
JOINT VENTURE PARTNER BEING SOUGHT FOR COBALT-NICKEL-SILVER-COPPER PROJECT
Outcrop Explorations Limited and subsidiary Consolidated Professor Mines Limited are seeking a Joint Venture Partner with cash to bring their Teledyne Mine into Production in the Cobalt, Ontario area. The Teledyne orebody contains in excess of 100,000 tons of cobalt mineralization with a grade of 0.5% cobalt with values in nickel-silver and copper and perhaps gold and diamonds. The same orebody on the adjoining Big Agaunico Property produced some 4,350,000 pounds cobalt, 980,000 ounces of silver, 200,000 pounds of nickel and some l00,000 pounds of copper were produced intermittently from 1905 to the 1960's. Teledyne drove a 10 x 13 foot access decline to intersect the ore zone. The 2,300 foot Access Decline was completed on October 31, 1980. Stoping widths of up to 50 feet wide were not unusual on the same orebody on the Big Agaunico Property. Within 5 miles of the Teledyne Portal is the SMC Mill which will do custom milling and within a mile of the Teledyne Portal is the now Yukon Minerals custom Refinery, formerly the Cobatec and Canmine Complex. The basement rock consists of Archaen age Keewatin Volcanic - the oldest rocks in Canada. This is where the property may host diamond potential. Diamonds are a new commodity in Canada and the decline did not transverse this formation but lamprophyres were discovered in the formations above the Keewatin Volcanics. Gold values were also discovered in some of the diamond drill results that transversed into the Greenstone Formation. Interested?
