Mining Show – Expanded once again for 2008 – largest ever!!!
The Mining world is coming to Sudbury, May 14th & 15th 2008, the largest
mining show in Ontario is coming to Sudbury, with companies from around
the world including places like Australia, United States, Canada as well
as the most professional and progressive mining supply and service
companies from Sudbury.
“This years show is exploding with exhibitors we are well ahead of last
shows numbers in terms of exhibitors, we will have in excess of over 120
companies displaying there products and services at the show” “ this
show will definitely showcase the latest in new technology in the mining
industry” states Darren Ceccarelli, the shows producer.
“ We have been contacted by other countries such as China and Africa
with plans of sending high Commissioner’s from the Mining Industries for
Solid Mineral Developments to Sudbury for the show, as well as delegates
coming from Peru, Brazil, Australia, England, India, Indonesia and other
countries ” states Darren Ceccarelli. “ This just brings the trade show
value up a few notchs to be able to attract these high profile people to
the city to this event. This is also a great opportunity for the local
companies in the trade show to showcase their products and services to
an otherwise very difficult and costly market to reach”.
“ This show is only open to people in the industry – which creates a
forum of mining intelligence as well as an invaluable networking tool
for industry professionals. Anyone in the industry interested in new
products, technology, or industry trends and economic outlooks would
benefit from attending this event.”
This two day show taking place in Exhibition Centre will focus on the
latest mining and industrial technology from throughout the world. Over
140 companies will have new products and services on display with many
demonstrations and technical seminars.
“ This is a great opportunity for mining and industrial professionals to
meet manufacturer reps, business owners and industry professionals on a
one-to-one basis throughout the two days. The focus on the show will be
both above ground and under-ground products and services, virtually
anything relating to mining and industry will be represented” states
Darren Ceccarelli, DAC Marketing Ltd, the shows producer.
The show has taken place since 1994 and has always been well received by
participating companies looking for a venue to display their products.
The show has grown year after and year and has had a growing
international component to it. Companies that participate in the show
realize the importance of being in a show like this in networking and
making contacts with industry personnel. Many new products are also
introduced at this show which aids sales representatives in reaching
their markets and the potential end users.
“ We have had attendees calling form China, Russia, New Zealand, and
Africa about wanting to attend the show. Clients come from throughout
Canada and abroad. The show typically will attract between 1500 and 2500
attendees in the two days” states Ceccarelli.
The show will take place Wednesday, May 14th, from 12 noon till 6 pm and
Thursday, May 15th from 10am till 4pm at the Exhibition Centre.
Admission is free to the trade, this is a trade only show. We will also
have a lounge area set-up for exhibitors and attendees
