My Guardian Angel Son

You’re the angel on my shoulder
When I’m driving down the highway.
You’re the angel on my bedpost
When I go to sleep at night.
You’re watching over me night and day
My life’s in your hands,
My Guardian Angel, my son, my protector.

I feel your presence throughout the day.
I will pause and close my eyes
And good thoughts of you fill my head.
I will smile and carry on,
The sadness of the moment gone.

I will never forget you, my darling son
Or the joy you brought to my life.
You live on through your children,
Whose memories of their Dad are still strong.

Son, you have gone on ahead of me to Heaven,
To pave the way for me someday.
Our meeting will be joyous,
My heart will be whole once more.
But for now, I feel you near
My Guardian Angel son.

I love you -- Mom

My son was an organ donor and was only to happy to sign his organ donor card. What a wonderful gift of life and hope he has given to six donor recipients.
A 49 year old woman received his heart and lungs and is doing well so far, a 40 year old woman received 1/2 of his liver and a kidney and is doing well, an 18 month old child received the other 1/2 of his liver and is recovering nicely and a 60 year old diabetic man received his other kidney and is recovering as well. Both of the corneas of my son's eyes have been transplanted to two young individuals. My heart swells with pride that through my son's generous donations 6 people have a chance of leading normal healthy lives.
I can't express strong enough how important it is to please get a donor card and SIGN IT. Give the gift of life to others who are not as fortunate to have healthy organs. There is a critical shortage of healthy organs and many people, young and old needing them desperately. You or someone you love may need a heart or lung or kidney sometime in the future. Let's make sure there will always be one available for our friends and loved ones and needy people all over the world. Please call 1-800-263-2833 or send for your card today. Do this in memory of my wonderful son. God will bless you for this unselfish act forever.
